Our Mission
Housing and Community Development Corporation (“HCDC”) is an Ohio non-profit corporation
whose mission is to revitalize neighborhoods, through public and private partnerships, by rehabilitating neglected properties and providing educational services to the public to better the lives of residents and business owners in our community.
Rehabilitation
We have developed a model that will attract private investment into neighborhood rehabilitation projects, through which HCDC will target vacant, public nuisances to bring such properties into a safe and habitable condition, suitable for occupancy.
Outreach
A substantial portion of proceeds earned through rehabilitation projects will fund outreach education
programs to assist homeowners and tenants in learning the skills and obtaining resources to maintain their properties.
Our team’s extensive experience with a variety of projects at all levels, coupled with a commitment to quality, will result in the efficient execution of rehabilitation projects and outreach programs, whether large or small, public or private.
